Strawbale Toolshed Construction
Brad Masi, project
coordinator for the Environmental Studies Program, takes a
breather with Mark Hoberecht, a NASA engineer who runs
Natural Homesteads in Columbia Station, Ohio. Hoberecht has
been supervising the building of the toolshed.

Oberlin College students,
parents and teachers of Eastwood schoolchildren, Eastwood
schoolchildren, and other members of the Oberlin community
have had a hand in the building.

The cornerstones of the
building were once part of the old conservatory building.
All the sandstone for the toolshed is recycled from College
buildings and sidewalks.
