OCTOBER 16, 1998--John Palacio, a correspondent for ABC's Good Morning, America, rose and shone today after spending his first night ever in a college residence hall--Oberlin's Dascomb Hall. (He was a commuter when he attended UCLA.) By all accounts, Palacio made it through the night and will tell the tale when the program dedicates a broadcast to college life later this month.
Oberlin will represent the residence-hall experience on the program, which is tentatively scheduled to air Friday, October 23. Good Morning, America is broadcast locally on WEWS-TV from 7 to 9 A.M.
