Transitions for February 23, 2001
			New Faculty and Staff Ondine Hasson-Duphil became a visiting instructor of French February 1. Rachel Jensen became a visiting professor of vocal accompanying February 1. Eric Kean (Cornell University B.S. 1993, John Caroll University M.S. 2000) became a visiting assistant professor of mathematics February 1. Heather Smith became a reference librarian in the main library, as well as the library's diversity intern program coordinator January 2. Thomas Uthup became the director of foundation and corporate advancement in the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs February 15. Beth Weiss became a visiting professor of harpsichord February 1. Elina Yuffa became a visiting instructor of Russian February 1. Departures Theresa Bump, assistant director of career services, left the college February 8. She worked in Oberlin for three years. Lawrence Gibson, assistant director of residential life/facilities, left the college February 5. He worked at the college for three years. Linda Gilmore, supervisor for the Office of Safety and Security, left the College January 23. She worked at the college for two years. Che Gonzalez left her part-time position as a counselor in the Office of Admissions January 1. Gonzalez is still employed by the Office of Student Academic Services. Jerry Mynhier, a food service maintenance worker, left the college December 31. He has worked for the college since 1969. Caitlin Scott, assistant director for youth education at the Center for Service and Learning, left the college December 31. She worked in Oberlin for two years.
