Classical Action/Oberlin Stages Benefit Concert to Fight Aids September 23

Classical Action is a not-for-profit organization that draws on the talents, resources, and generosity of the performing-arts community to raise funds for HIV/AIDS service, education, and prevention programs across the country. The organization raises funds through special events, private house concerts, recording and merchandising products, individual donations, and foundation and corporate support.

Former co-director of IMG Artists Charles Hamlen founded Classical Action in January 1993. In October 1997 Classical Action became a fundraising program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation’s leading industry-based AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.
