Degree Programs
For many years, Oberlin students have enjoyed a variety of ways to pursue career goals or interests in music education, either singly or in combination with other programs. Of the seven options described, the first five are licensure programs, i.e. students completing the program as well as any additional state requirements are eligible upon completion to apply for a teaching license in Ohio. Reciprocal agreements are in place between Ohio and various other states. All of the program options are described further in the Oberlin College Catalog. Additional questions may be directed to the Director of Music Education Division.
