Colin Higgins Youth Courage Awards
Administers three $10,000 grants to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth (through age 24) who have stood up to hostility and intolerance based on their sexual orientation and triumphed over bigotry or allies who are working to end homophobia and discrimination against LGBTQ communities . It emphasizes reaching geographically and demographically underserved communities including rural and reservation communities, communities of color, transgender communities, and low-income communities.
