/ Tobacco / Other Drugs Committee (ATOD)
Definition
of Committee
The
Alcohol / Tobacco / Other Drug Committee is a campus committee comprised
of students, faculty, and staff which meets to collaborate on alcohol
and other drug education, policy, and prevention efforts at Oberlin
College. We meet twice a semester, additional
meetings as needed. There are several subcommittees ranging from Sanctioning to Tobacco Prevention, for example.
Our Goals:
This committee
works to integrate alcohol abuse prevention efforts into the fabric
of the institution.
This committee
ensures that alcohol/other drug efforts are clearly defined and
reflect the needs of the campus.
This committee
works to create a comprehensive and long-term perspective.
This
committee works to design campus initiatives to be multi-targeted
and broad based.
This
committee addresses topical issues as defined in committee.
