Reserve items are materials identified by professors (books, articles, scores, recordings, videos) that are either required or recommended for completing course assignments.

The library also makes reserve readings available electronically via ERes, which allows students to access material from any networked computer on campus.

Each library has its own reserve operation. In the Main Library the reserve room is a self-serve operation.
