WWII Posters: US Patriotism

In almost all of the war posters, themes of nationalism and patriotism were overwhelmingly evident. Many of the posters, with the exception of some of the anti-Nazi theme posters, use the patriotic colors of red, white and blue. There are also posters hailing the rights that American citizens have, such as Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion. In addition, many of these posters seek to blur lines of class, race, and gender as an effort to increase nationalist and patriotic feelings.
