Course Reserves

You are responsible for knowing the time your reserve material is due.
Reserve fines are $2.00 per hour, per item.
Additional fines are assessed if course textbooks are taken overnight.

Most reserve materials are kept behind the circulation desk, arranged by course number. Ask a staff member to retrieve items for you - do not help yourself. In addition to course reserves, we also check out laptops, calculators, and headphones.

Loan Period: 3 hours

Colors of reserve labels indicate if items may be taken out the library:

RED - never leaves the library

YELLOW - no overnight use

GREEN - overnight use okay

Overnight loan begins two hours before the library closes; those items must be returned within one hour of opening the next business day.

Do not return reserve materials to the library's book drop unless the library is CLOSED for the day. Fines will be assessed for materials that become overdue while sitting the book return.

The open Reserve Browsing collection is located near the New Books area, on the south side of the library. You can easily browse these materials on the open shelves. Bring them to the circulation desk if you want to borrow them to take them from the library.
