Laptops
The Science Library has 6 Laptops available for checkout from the circulation desk, including 4 Macbooks and 2 iBook G4 laptops. They are available on a first come, first served basis and have wireless access to the campus network. The software and system configuration of the Science Library laptops is similar to those at the Main Library.
Our lending policies are very smiliar as well, with two important distinctions: the Macbooks may be borrowed for use outside of the Science Center, if needed, so long as they are returned within 4 hours; and the iBook G4s, if borrowed for overnight use, must be returned by 10 a.m. Monday - Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
We do not have extra power cords for the Macbooks, but can lend a power cord for your own iBook if you've forgotten your own. We have no ethernet cables to lend.
