Many major reference
works are accessible in both print and electronic format. OBIS
provides information about the location and call number of the physical
item, as well as providing a link to the electronic version.
Example:
- McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology is a print work that we own in several editions. OBIS also provides a record for and link to its electronic version, AccessScience.
Many Research Guides also lead to full-text reference sources, some of which are titles that we purchase and even more that are freely available on the Web.
Government Publications
Science.gov

by U.S. Government agencies, including research and development results.
The U.S. Geological Survey is a significant producer of reports, fact sheets and other documents that are availble full-text on the Web.
