Electronic Periodicals

Oberlin College Library pays subscriptions to thousands of journals that are accessed over the Internet in digital full-text. A large number of these electronic journals are devoted to scientific disciplines, and are peer-reviewed, scholarly periodicals edited by scientists.

Many major reference works are accessible in both print and electronic format. OBIS provides information about the location and call number of the physical item, as well as providing a link to the electronic version.

Government Publications

Science.gov is a gateway to authoritative selected science information provided
by U.S. Government agencies, including research and development results.

The U.S. Geological Survey is a significant producer of reports, fact sheets and other documents that are availble full-text on the Web.
