Food and Drink Policy

Drinks are permitted in sturdy, covered, containers designed to minimize spills. Keep your container tightly closed when not in use and take it with you when you leave the library. Examples of approved beverage containers:

Food is not permitted in public areas of the library.

The Science Center commons, right outside the library entrance, is a great place to enjoy your meal or snack.

Violators will be asked to take their food out of the llibrary. Non-cooperation may result in fines, judicial proceedings, or suspension of certain library privileges. The library reserves the right to dispose of food found in the library, and to discard beverages that are not in approved containers.
