Spring Semester Deadline: January 15th



Faculty/Instructor Responsibilities

  1. Supply complete information for each item on your reserve list. This includes Oberlin call numbers as well as author or director, title, edition (if a specific one is necessary), and publisher.
  2. Provide photocopies for both print reserve and ERes, including a full citation visible on the first page of each and the author/title information completed on the ERes form. If more than one print copy is needed, please indicate the number of copies.
  3. Please refer to Copyright Policy for Library Reserves for your copyright responsibilities.

Main Reserve Room Services Offered

  1. Process all material listed for print reserve by putting available items on shelf or making proper follow-up if an item not immediately available.
  2. Process submissions by the first day of class. Everything that we can obtain will be on the shelf and a follow-up step will have been taken for items not immediately available.
  3. Send confirmation note that the courses are ready so you can check it on OBIS.
  4. Process the ERes items. Send a confirmation that course is ready with the password so you can check it.
  5. Process any follow-up requests on specific items before/during the second week of classes.

Rush requests due to unforeseen circumstances will be given priority during the first weeks of the semester.
