Primary source material on many aspects of early American history from 1789 to 1838

ProQuest Congressional (1789 —) Provides information about all aspects of U.S. legislation-bills, hearings, reports and documents, laws and regulations, members of Congress, congressional committees, etc. Full text is available for hearings from 1824-2003, for CRS reports from 1916-2003, and committee prints from 1830-2003.

Also includes executive branch documents from 1789-1932.

U.S. Congressional Serial Set (1817 - 1994): Searchable full text of all of the reports, documents, and journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
