Food & Drink Policy

Drinks must bee in covered containers. Drinks are not permitted in the College Archives or Special Collections.

Types of containers not permitted* include:

• Aluminum cans
• Open mugs
• Paper or styrofoam cups without lids

* Except in Azariah's cafe, Mudd A-Level Lobby and A-Level study areas. The library staff reserve the right to approve or disapprove of drink containers.

In the main library, food is permitted in Azariah's cafe and in designated areas on the A-Level only. Food is not permitted in the Art, Conservatory or Science libraries. Violators will be asked to remove their food immediately and/or leave the library. Non-cooperation may result in fines, judicial proceedings, or suspension of certain library privileges.
