Memorial Arch plaque in place

The class of 1994 last year raised money for two new plaques for the Memorial Arch to recognize the Chinese citizens killed in the Boxer Uprising of 1900. The arch comemorates the missionaries killed there. One of the new plaques went up earlier this month, replacing a plaque that notes Oberlin's place on the National HIstoric Register. The replaced plaque will eventually go on the renovated Peters Hall, according to vice president for operations Donna Raynsford.
