Reserve Services

Font size: AAA

Reserve service, offered in each of our libraries, makes your reading, viewing, or listening assignments conveniently available to your students. In addition, we highly recommend that you place on reserve any films you plan to show in class. Materials for your classes can be made available through both tangible (print, DVD, CD, etc.) and electronic (pdf, mp3, web link, etc.) formats at each of the libraries.

Tangible reserve items are shelved at the Circulation desk in each library and are grouped in OBIS with other materials on reserve for your course.

Because our priority is to ensure access to all the students in any class, we use short loan periods and high fine rates.

Staff can help faculty manage their digitized assignments (readings/listening/viewing assignments) for classes. We can place digitized files directly into a course's Blackboard site, making them available to anyone officially registered for the course. The Conservatory Library staff digitizes and posts sound clips for listening assignments.
