Description:
Reproductions of full text items listed in Charles Evans' American Bibliography and Roger Pattrell Bristol's Supplement, arranged by Evans number. [Excludes works of a periodical or serial nature.] Among the most important collections ever produced on microform, this microfiche set was issued in the 1980s by Readex, is in excellent condition, and, to the best of our knowledge, is complete. It includes virtually every book and pamphlet printed in the United States from the genesis of printing in 1639 through the year 1800, and represents a rich collection of primary source materials on every aspect of life in 17th- and 18th-century America. MARC records for each individual item are available for purchase from the American Antiquarian Society for loading into library online catalogs.

Bids close at 5 pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Oberlin College will invoice high bidder, no credit cards accepted. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs. The set occupies 1.5 8-drawer microfiche cabinets; one black microfiche cabinet, in excellent condition, available free to high bidder if shipping is paid for. Oberlin College assumes no responsibility for replacing lost or damaged fiche after the sale has been transacted.
