Pawel Petasz

Bio:

Pawel Petasz is a Polish painter, collagist and visual poet. He has been an active force in international mail art since 1975 and is renowned in the mail art world for the creation of Commonpress magazine, a democratic, open forum founded in December 1977 which he coordinated until 1981. Based upon an international artistic co-operative practice of which each edition is edited, compiled and printed by a different Mail-artist, this was the start of a new art medium. He is also the founder of Atlantis Free Post.
