Books

Most books from the general stacks circulate to students, faculty, and staff for the semester.

Certain valuable books, portfolios with plates, and catalogues raisonnés are stamped "Library Use Only" or "Does Not Circulate" and may not be taken from the library, although they may be checked out to study carrels.

Reference books must be used in the library and cannot be checked out to study carrels.

Periodicals

The Library has over 200 periodical subscriptions some dating back to the 19th century.  Current and bound periodicals are library use only.

Videos

All art library videos must be viewed in the library. A viewing room that seats 2 people is available for use during library hours.
