RSS is a protocol that lets users subscribe to online content
using a "reader" or "aggregator." For more information see

If a web site (a news source, blog, publisher, etc.) includes any of these
icons 
you can automatically
capture content "feeds" with a number of different tools/programs.
Use Your Browser
Convert Feeds into Email Messages
- FeedMyInbox (up to 5 free feeds)
- RSS:Forward
- Thunderbird -- Lets you view RSS content in a way that is similar to reading email, without clogging your inbox
Feed Readers
- Bloglines
- Google Reader (requires a Google Account, however, this is not one of the OCApps for Education)
