Library Virtual Tour Project

Mentor(s): Alan Boyd; Ray English

Department: Administration

Aspects of librarianship related to the project: Web technology, Public relations

Number of openings: 1

Estimated length of project: 1 month

Hours/day: 3-4 hrs. day

Dates available: after mid-June

Preferred skills/knowledge: Dreamweaver, Photoshop

Additional comments: Time can be worked flexibly. Need to schedule initial consultations together with Ray and Alan.

Description: The project would involve taking digital photographs of the library buildings, including both exterior and interior shots. The photos would be mounted on the library web pages, with brief descriptions. A prototype and some pictures were developed last summer, but this project will be essentially a completely new one.
