Library Information Power Point Slide Show

Mentor(s): Cynthia Comer

Department: Reference & Instruction Dept.

Aspects of librarianship related to the project: Library services; Public relations

Number of openings: 1

Estimated length of project: 4 weeks

Hours/day: 1-2 hours/day

Dates available: June 24th - end of August

Preferred skills/knowledge: Previous experience with Power Point helpful, but not required if the fellow is willing and interested to learn the program for this project.

Additional comments:

Description:

The fellow will design and create a Power Point slide show showcasing various library tips and tidbits of information. The idea is to create an engaging, visually interesting slide show to air on screen while students are entering aroom before class-related instruction sessions. (Something like the slides that air while audiences wait for feature films to start in the movie theater...only library-related...and fun.)
