Additional comments:

Description: Survey our periodical holdings in Carnegie. This would be a continuation of the project given during the Currculum, measuring the amount of material in Mudd, Art, Science and Con that is pre-1920 and contains printed art (not photo-mechanical half tones) in the form of engravings, lithographs, etc. After the measuring gets done, the student would need to write a brief overview of the content of our holdings with some bulk figures so we know the scope of the problem with 19th century periodicals. I am estimating two weeks for this, but can't say exactly when diuring the summer at this point.
