Update OBIS Web Interface

Mentor(s): Alan Boyd

Department: Administration

Aspects of librarianship related to the project: Web technology/design

Number of openings: 1

Estimated length of project: 1 month

Hours/day: 3-4 hrs. day

Dates available: July or August

Preferred skills/knowledge: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, good web-editing/design skills.

Additional comments: Time can be worked flexibly. The Webmaster workstation in the Monographs will be set up for this work.

Description: The project would involve an updating of OBIS webpages to implement the "My OBIS" features that are now available in the software. We will consider a CSS implementation of an updated design for the pages-- a capability now also available in the new software release.
