Hours/day: 1-2 (approximately 4-5 hours/week)
Dates available: June-August, will continue into the Fall
in preparation for exhibits through December 2001

skills
Additional comments: The number of hours spent for various
parts of the project will vary. Also, additional responsiblities
may be added to the project at a later date. Some travel may be
required and will be arranged for the intern(s).
Description: The intern(s) will work with the mentors
to plan and arrange an exhibit of World War II posters to be displayed
at Ohio5 Group libraries. The Ohio5 Group consists of College
of Wooster, Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College,
and Ohio Wesleyan University. The itern(s) will participate in
following activities under the guidance of the mentors:
- Coordinating a display with other Ohio5 libraries, determining:
A. Who is interested in participating
B. Who is interested in contributing
C. Which posters will be displayed
D. Preservation/Security/Physical materials issues for the display
E. Schedule for the display
- Producing Web page for Ohio5 WWII poster display, containing:
A. Listing of posters
B. Links to poster images, including taking digital photos of
posters not already digitized
C. Links to OBIS
D. Researching and listing print and online resources
E. Researching and listing web sites containing WWII poster
images
F. Schedule for Ohio5 Display
- Conduct publicity for the exhibits
A. Brochure to accompany display
B. Press release for campuses (ex.: working with Colleges Relations
Depts.)
C. Coordinate with Ohio5 campuses
