Description: This project will provide an opportunity for the interns to learn a particular aspect of academic librarianship: new student orientation. In academic libraries, the ways to conduct new student orientation are varied. There are many different models out there. The purpose of this project is to find out what these models are out there and the pros and cons of these models. Hopefully Oberlin can learn something from this project in how we conduct our new student orientations. The intern will have the opportunity to be involved in the New Student Orientation in the Fall.
