Field
Trips
Throughout the year-long internship, interns will be exposed
to a variety of library environments through tours and field trips.
Local resources such as the Oberlin Public Library, the Oberlin
Public Schools libraries, and the National Association of College
Stores can be examined during the spring semester. Longer trips
will be arranged during the summer to take advantage of the richness
of Ohio's libraries. Possible destinations include:
- Cleveland Public Library
- OCLC
- General Book Binding
- A Cleveland medical library
- Law firm or law school library
- Western Reserve Historical Society
- Holden Arboretum Library
- Cleveland Museum of Art Library
