Financial Resources and Public Relations (1 hr.)
Ray English

  • Critical importance of financial resources for the effectiveness of any library and the political relationships that are factors in establishing and developing those financial resources
  • Relationship between the library and its parent organization (board of trustees, institutional administration or other corporate body) and some of the ways in which that relationship affects the library's financial base.
  • Importance of public relations in a general sense, but with a special emphasis on its importance for financial resources.
