Questions to Consider in Preparation for Access to Materials Unit

Welcome to the Circulation (Reserve) Session
Week of March 12, 2001

In preparation for the Introduction to Circulation and session on Reserve we would like you to think about the following questions in detail.

You are a customer on a regular basis. Give a personal example of unfair service (library or non-library setting - think of something you know well). Consider:

  • What are the general policies and procedures you encountered as the customer?
  • What has frustrated you?
  • What made the situation unfair?
  • How would you have fixed it?

See you Tuesday.

Allison Gould, Circulation Supervisor

Julie Weir, Reserve Supervisor
