Read Preface and Introduction (p. 5-24) and pick an additional
chapter.
Berman has been for years the prophet that no one
wants to hear.
Gorman, Michael. "The Corruption of Cataloging." Library Journal
120, no. 15 (1995): 32-34.
Gorman continues to be a leading spokesperson for
cataloging, and writes here to caution against the dangers of
unlimited outsourcing of library work.
