I. Read the Nielsen documents in Eres [see Readings]
- Intro: Why Web Usability?
- Page Design
- Accessibility for Users with Disabilities
Comment on the usability of the Library's website with Nielsen's
comments in mind.
II. Answer the following questions using only information
found on the Library website
- Find out what the hours are at the art library, now, and during
spring break.
- Find the name and phone number of the librarian who is in
charge of Serials.
- Find out if we own a book called The Corrections by Jonathan
Franzen. If so, is it available?
- Name at least two library services that we offer through the
web page.
- Find our policies for reserve. What's the maximum fine before
reserve borrowing privileges are revoked?
