Martin and GroundView co-founder, Eden Dutcher, have placed in multiple international design competitions. For the past six years Martin has taught regularly at Harvard Graduate School of Design. At Harvard, Martin’s teaching and research have focused on transitional landscapes, their design and representation, and on the role of digital media in landscape design. He has served as a design studio critic at Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and Northeastern University. Before starting GroundView, Martin worked at Hargreaves Associates in San Francisco, before that, Philadelphia's Olin Partnership. He received his MLA from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
