Orientation Program for New International Students

The Fall 2008 International Student Orientation Program will begin on Saturday evening, August 23, and will continue through Sunday and Monday, August 24 and 25.

NOTE: Regular orientation for all new students begins on Tuesday, August 26. The schedule for the regular orientation is posted online - please visit this website for regular updates and other information important for all new students.

The international student orientation program will provide you with important information and advice about immigration, cultural adjustment, travel, housing, financial aid, and various types of counseling—academic, career, and personal. We also sponsor social activities and trips especially for new and continuing international students.

Remember that as a new international student, you have special permission to move into your dorm room on Friday, August 22, or Saturday, August 23.

If you are a US citizen residing abroad, you do not have to join us for the international student orientation program but please know that you're invited and we'll be happy to have you!
