Voting Early Alleviates Long Lines at the Polls

To encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity, the nonpartisan Oberlin Voter Coalition and the College have arranged for transportation to the Lorain County Board of Elections. Oberlin Voter Coalition member Andrew Watiker ’10 believes voting early will encourage more students to vote. “This is not about getting people out to vote for Democrats or getting people out to vote for Republicans,” said Watiker. “This is about turning out people to vote, period.”
