Cars, minivans, and SUVs converged on the Oberlin College campus during Orientation week. Students and family members brought boxes, bags, and luggage filled with items necessary (or not) to create a home-away-from-home feel, be it in a traditional residence hall or one of the college’s popular co-ops.
Prior to the start of classes, these first-year and transfer students participated in a variety of informal and formal activities and programs. These sessions helps students transition to the robust academic and social environment they are to set to begin.
