The Oberlin College Luminary Program honors those donors who invest generously in the College. This program privately recognizes two categories of donors: individuals and households with lifetime giving to Oberlin between $100,000 and $999,999; and those with giving in excess of $1,000,000.

Taking its name from Oberlin’s traditional Illumination celebration during Commencement/Reunion Weekend, these donors are known as Luminaries, which appropriately means “one who inspires others.” Luminaries are recognized individually in a number of different ways.
