In the summer of 2005, an Oberlin College professor offered his own money as a way of challenging young alums to make a gift of their own to Oberlin. The resulting Challenge, and this website, resulted in a 74% increase in new donors to Oberlin. We're leaving this site up since the facts and figures laid out inside are still relevant, and in case anyone missed the Challenge the first time around.
