Over my three plus years at Oberlin I've been fortunate to get involved in many different extracurriculars I've thoroughly enjoyed. I've spent the past three years learning from fellow students as a part of The Oberlin Review and the varsity lacrosse team. This year I've had the opportunity to develop my leadership skills as co-Editor-in-Chief down in the Burton basement, and a co-captain out on the field. Plus I've added Track and Field to my schedule, and am giving back to the college as a part of the Senior Gift Committee.

In the classroom, Oberlin lets me study under outstanding teachers in math and philosophy who have helped me develop the critical thinking skills expected of an Obie. But my development at Oberlin would not be complete without the relationships I have formed with fellow students. The “weirdness” of Oberlin was an extreme culture shock from my all-boys Jesuit high school, but it is something that I have grown to appreciate and will surely miss after graduation.

Throughout the winter terms and summers of the past three years I've also had the chance to travel to 15 foreign countries through projects and programs that I've learned about from or experienced with fellow students. The plethora of people that I have met, extracurriculars that I've participated in, and unusual experiences at Oberlin have made the past three years a thorough and complete education that I will cherish forever.
