How to Give :: Bequests
Informing Oberlin of Your Bequest Intentions
< Back
The College recognizes that your bequest intentions are a personal matter that you may wish to keep confidential. However, if you are willing to share them, Oberlin would like to acknowledge your intentions. If you are age 65 or older, your bequest intention may count at full face value toward your class’s reunion gift, if the documentation is provided during the reunion counting period. In some cases, bequest intentions may be counted toward a campaign goal.
An easy way to inform Oberlin of your estate intention is to complete
the Declaration of Testamentary Intent Form, available here in MSWord or PDF format. It is very helpful to Oberlin to have information about future expected gifts for long-range planning. Any information you share with the College will be held in the strictest confidence.
