Gift Planning :: 50th Reunion Giving

Your 50th Reunion at Oberlin College is a remarkable milestone. It encourages you to consider the ways in which your Oberlin education impacted your life. It also provides a wonderful chance to reconnect with the classmates who shared your Oberlin experience. Together, you and your classmates can renew your friendships, celebrate your lives, and become reacquainted with the campus that you once called home.

To mark this occasion, members of the 50th reunion class form a special reunion gift committee (RGC) to raise present and future-interest gifts for the College. The RGC works closely with the Gift Planning Office to establish a goal and a reunion project. Over a two-year accounting period, the RGC members contact their classmates to invite them to attend Reunion/Commencement Weekend in May and to encourage their support of the class gift.

The classes of 1956 and 1957 are actively seeking support for their 50th reunion gifts. If you would like to participate in their efforts, please contact one of the classmates on your Reunion Gift Committee or Jamie Jurado at (440) 775-8599.
