Outside Scholarships

Many students today fund a portion of their college expenses through scholarships given by private agencies, civic groups, companies, and other independent organizations. When the Office of Financial Aid receives information about such outside scholarships, it is posted online. Several good Internet search engines can also help students identify scholarship opportunities.

For information on how outside scholarships affect financial aid awards, see Financial Aid Policies.
