- Sensible & latent heat from Earth’s surface
- Long-wave (IR) radiation from Earth’s surface
Atmosphere itself emits long-wave (IR) radiation into space
- An amount = 38% of the original 100% received from sun emitted by CO2 & H2O
- An amount = 26% of the original 100% received from sun emitted by clouds
