  Adolescent Sexual Activity

For teens, becoming sexually active is part of becoming an adult.  Most people reach puberty around the age of 13.  Puberty leads to hormonal and sexual changes.  Teens become sexually aroused leading to sexual experimentation.  It is very important for teens to be aware of the consequences of sexual activity, such as contracting STDs and becoming pregnant.  This  can be provided through education.  If teens are going to be sexually active, it is important for them to be informed so they can make responsible decisions.

Teenagers want to know about the changes in their bodies and sex.  Here is a great place to find out answers for teens and their parents.
