This is my wonderful family. Sharon is a teacher in the nationally-recognized Open Room at Eastwood School here in Oberlin. Write her at sharon.blecher@oberlin.edu. Ian (next to Sara, of course!) graduated from Yale, where he majored in philosophy, in 2000. For the next two years he reported for the New York Observer. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. You can write to Ian at ianblecher@hotmail.com. On June 2003 he married Sara Nichols! Sara graduated from Yale in 1999, and worked in New York for several years as an editor for the New Labour Forum. She is now a graduate student in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. And on May 8, they brought Solomon Nichols Blecher into the world! Jacob (far right) graduated from Yale in May 2004. Check out graduation pictures. He has worked for the Working Families Party in New York and as a paralegal in Los Angeles, and too an M.A. in Social Science at the University of Chicago in 2007-08. From fall 2009 Jacob will begin graduate study in political science at the University of Chicago. Write him at jacob.blecher@gmail.com. During the winter and spring, 2000, Joel (left) lived with the Furlanetto family in Dolo, Italy, a lovely town between Padua and Venice. He graduated from Swarthmore in June 2004 (pictures). After working in Philadelphia at adult GED programs for the indigent, he spent 2006-07 in Syria; check out his adventures. Beginning in the fall of 2007 he began graduate study in Religion and Near Eastern Studies at Princeton. You can reach him at joelblecher@gmail.com. In 2002 we purchased a flat in London's lovely Primrose Hill! Please visit us there, or talk with us about using it for your own trip. For now you can visit it on line.
