In addition to studying biology, I love to spend time with my spouse Kevin and our two dogs, Oberon and Lexi.
I am an active person and enjoy yoga, running, and soccer on a regular basis. I didn't start playing soccer until I was 28 but it turns out to be one of my favorite things to do. Today, my spouse and I play together on a local coed adult soccer team.
Whenever we can afford the time and expense, my spouse and I love to travel. A few years ago we visited Macchu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands, we've been to Italy several times, and last summer (2011) we spent a few weeks in Ireland. Domestically, we have traveled to many parts of the USA, including a road trip from Oberlin to Yellowstone National Park a few years ago. We love hiking, camping, and kayaking.
I also like to play games (e.g., Dominion) and read (science fiction is a fav) whenever time allows!
