Directions

Oberlin is located at the junction of Ohio Route 58 and Ohio Route 511. You can use the directions listed below to find the A.J. Lewis Center, see detailed campus maps on Oberlin's offical vistor site, or visit Mapquest.com for personalized directions.

From the East:
* I-80: Take I-80 west to exit 152 (N. Olmstead/Cleveland interchange). Go west on Ohio Route 10. Rt. 10 becomes Rt. 20. The Oberlin exit (Ohio Route 511 West) takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn left on to Professor Street. Cross East College Street and turn right on to Elm Street. The A.J. Lewis Center is on your right.

* I-90: Take I-90 west to I-271 South (express or local) to I-480 West. Follow I-480 west to the Oberlin/Norwalk Exit for Ohio Rout 10 (exit is to the left). Rt. 10 becomes Rt. 20. The Oberlin exit (Ohio Route 511 West) takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn left on to Professor Street. Cross East College Street and turn right on to Elm Street. The A.J. Lewis Center is on your right.

* I-480: Follow I-480 west to the Oberlin/Norwalk Exit for Ohio Rout 10 (exit is to the left). Rt. 10 becomes Rt. 20. The Oberlin exit (Ohio Route 511 West) takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn left on to Professor Street. Cross East College Street and turn right on to Elm Street. The A.J. Lewis Center is on your right.

From The West:
Take I-80/90 to exit 135 (Vermilion Interchange). Turn south (right) on Baumhart Road. At Ohio Route 511 (flashing light) turn east (left) on Route 511 and follow it into town. At the second traffic light, turn left on North Professor Street. The Admissions Office in the Carnegie Building will be on your right.

From The South:
Take I-71 North to the Rt 250 Ashland/Wooster exit 186. Go east (right) on U.S. Route 250 to Ohio Route 89. Go north (left) on 89 (towards Polk, at bottom of big hill) two miles after exiting. Rt. 58 joins Rt. 89, continue on Rt. 58 north. At the fourth traffic light, the interstection of 58 and College Street, turn left. At the first traffic light, turn left on to Professor Street. Cross East College Street and turn right on to Elm Street. The A.J. Lewis Center is on your right.

From The Airport:
Follow the signs for I-480 west, then use the directions for I-480. By Plane: The Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport is just a half-hour drive from Oberlin. Limousine service between the airport and the campus is available. Rates vary, call in advance, 1-800-543-9912. Lorain County Transit runs a bus (Route 33) to and from the airport for $2 one way per person.
