Directions & Parking
BY AIR: The Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport is just a half-hour drive from Oberlin. Limousine service between the airport and the campus is available.
BY CAR: Oberlin is located at the junction of Ohio Route 58 (Main Street in Oberlin) and Ohio Route 511 (Lorain Street in Oberlin). You can use the directions listed below to find the Office of Admissions in the Carnegie Building, or visit Mapquest.com for personalized directions.
From the East:
I-80: Take I-80 west to exit 152 (N. Olmstead/Cleveland interchange). Go west on Ohio Route 10, which becomes Ohio Route 20. Do not exit 10/20 until you see the Oberlin Route 511 exit. Route 511 west takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn right on North Professor Street. Continue past the Stevenson Dining Hall and turn right to enter the parking lot. The Science Center is across the street, and at the south end of the block, there are entrances from the North Quad and on Woodland St.
I-90: Take I-90 west to I-271 South to I-480 West. Follow I-480 as it turns into Ohio Route 10 and then Route 20. The Oberlin exit (Ohio Route 511 West) takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn right on to North Professor Street.
I-480: Take I-480 west until it turns into Ohio Route 10, Route 10, which becomes Ohio Route 20. Do not exit 10/20 until you see the Oberlin Route 511 exit. Route 511 west takes you into town. At the fifth traffic light, turn right on North Professor Street.
From the airport: Follow the signs for I-480 west, then use the directions for I-480.
From the West:
Take I-80/90 to exit 135 (Vermilion Interchange, turn south (right) on Baumhart Road to Ohio Route 511. Turn east (left) on Route 511 and follow it into town. At the second traffic light, turn left on North Professor Street.
From the South:
Take I-71 North to the Ashland exit. Go east on U.S. Route 250 to Ohio Route 89. Go north on 89 to Ohio Route 58. Go north on 58 into Oberlin. Turn left on Lorain Street. Turn left at the intersection of 58 and Lorain Street. At the first traffic light, turn right onto North Professor Street.
The ALLEN MEMORIAL ART MUSEUM is located at the corner of Lorain and Main Streets, and there is parking on the street in front of the Museum.
PARKING: At the fifth traffic light on OH 511 (Lorain St.), turn right on North Professor Street. Continue past the Stevenson Dining Hall and turn right to enter the parking lot. The Science Center is in the block across N. Professor Street, at the south end of the block. There are entrances from the North Quad and on Woodland St. Parking on Woodland and N. Professor St. is permitted but tends to be limited. There is additional parking in Lots located on W. College St. No Parking is permitted on Lorain St.
