Ben Wade, who has conducted the Wade Hardware store since the death of his father more than twenty years ago, is a representative of a family of sound standing in the community. The Wade store has been a fixture in Oberlin for many years. Mr. Wade in the conduct of his business is assisted by his sister Miss Mabel Wade, who is the efficient bookkeeper for the store.
